The DPO Centre’s existing deal-based setup in HubSpot presented significant challenges:

  • Inefficient Lead Tracking – Their system did not effectively record multiple repeat enquiries from the same contacts, making it difficult to track lead origins and engagement history.
  • Reporting Inaccuracies – The legacy deal setup undercounted historical data, leading to discrepancies in year-on-year comparisons.

  • Complex Migration Process – Transitioning from deals to leads required restructuring nearly 100 reports and ensuring historical data remained intact.

We exported existing deals, backdated historical data into the new leads system, and ensured accurate year-on-year comparisons. To maintain data integrity, this offline processes involved backdating lead entries to provide a reliable data baseline going forward.
