1. URL Personalisation Token Support in Email

Personalisation tokens are a great and easy way to show your contacts that you are interested in contacting them specifically. Previously tokens could be inserted within your written email such as 'Hi [FIRST NAME]'; but now they can also be implemented in buttons to make CTAs even more attention-grabbing.

Unmatched Insights:  Being able to target contacts based on their profile means contacts are even more likely to act on your CTAs.

2.Estimated Email Size in Marketing Email Editor

The size of your email matters as it affects your deliverability rates,  how good your email looks in the contact's inbox and ultimately your conversion rates. You now have the ability to preview this in your Marketing Email Editor prior to sending.

1. It's located in the email editor
est email size 2
2. You can see how your current sizing will affect the email

Unmatched Insights: This feature is convenient because it eliminates the necessity to check how your email appears across various browsers and devices using the preview tab. For busy marketers, having quick access to information about whether an email needs editing to improve deliverability is essential.

Who gets it: All hubs and tiers

3.Simplify how contacts resubscribe via form

Avoid placing obstacles when someone wants to resubscribe. Previously contacts had to agree to receive an email in order to confirm resubscription, now if they click subscribe they are funnily enough subscribed. It's a piece of🍰with this update.

Unmatched Insights: Honestly, it just makes sense!

Who gets it: Marketing Hub (all)

1. Convert Active to Static Lists

Lists now have the capability to be converted into static lists. This is based on when the action is scheduled and as such has to be on a future date. If you don't want this happening, it defaults to 'never', or if you want it based on activity this is also an option meaning it will only become static based after inactivity.

Select a specific date for list conversion

Unmatched Insights:  This flexibility is amazing for events such as webinars, as you can leave the list 'open' for as long as you'd like and don't need to remember to turn it into a static list. This helps you effortlessly avoid the uncomfortable situation of mistakenly sending emails about past events. 😳

Who gets it: Content Enterprise, Marketing Enterprise, Ops Enterprise, Sales Enterprise, Service Enterprise

2. Quickly Exclude Records from Active Lists

Clearly lists are a current theme when it comes to updates...

Now you can easily exclude specific records from active lists. Just head to the settings of the list and select up to 25 records to exclude. It's worth mentioning that HubSpot are looking at rolling this out as a bulk action feature and the 'test' feature won't currently take exclusions into consideration, so don't panic if you see the records!

exclusions

Unmatched Insights:  this is a very welcome update as previously you had to create two lists and exclude records via their membership of the other list or add individual email addresses as 'none of' criteria. Talk about going round the houses!

Who gets it: All hubs and tiers

3.Contact Search for Outbound Dialer

In the dialer, you can now search for specific contacts, much like an actual phone but better as you can also check for numbers via email address and the company record.

Unmatched Insights:  this is one of those updates you don't realise you're missing until you have it, it makes calling contacts so much faster

Who gets it:

Professional Customer Platform, Enterprise Customer Platform, Sales Pro, Sales Enterprise, Service Pro, Service Enterprise

4.Mobile Lead Summary Pipeline Widget [iOS only]

For sales teams on the go, it's important to have an easily accessible view of your ongoing prospecting activities and make sure you're monitoring and nurturing your leads. For those using iOS devices, there is now the availability of the lead widget which provides an easily accessible overview via the HubSpot app.

You can also click into the widget for a more detailed view on your leads. Here's hoping they also roll this out to Android devices too 🤞

Unmatched Insights: Ensuring sales reps have the right information on the road is important to ensure not only information is readily available but also to provide teams with support and reduce friction between sales and marketing.

Who gets it: The mobile leads summary pipeline is now available in public beta for iOS users only. To start getting better insights on your leads pipeline please download the latest version of the HubSpot mobile app from the App Store and navigate to the ‘Sales’ or ‘Sales & Marketing’ homepage.

Service Hub

1. Chat with Copilot during live calls

HubSpot rolled out a ton of updates via their INBOUND 2024 conference earlier this year. Now, these updates are being refined even further to ensure they remain beneficial to you.

Copilot acts as your on-demand AI assistant and can now assist you while you're on call with clients as it summarises your current conversation in real-time. This means you can ask it to summarise meeting notes before it's even finished, meaning you will spend less time having to recap meeting notes and emailing clients.

co-pilot Q&A

Unmatched Insights: This is a really useful update and we're looking forward to using this for some of our own client calls to see it in action.

Who gets it: Professional Customer Platform, Enterprise Customer Platform, Sales Pro, Sales Enterprise, Service Pro, Service Enterprise

AI-1

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

1. AI-generated Video Subtitles and Subtitle Translations

Translation is important to make sure your content isn't limited in its reach. It's now possible to create subtitles for video content and create translations for subtitles. Not only is this great for increasing your audience but also ensuring improved accessibility for anyone with disabilities, making sure your company is up to date with all the necessary requirements.

In order to activate this feature, head to the required video in your files section, check the details feature and ensure 'advanced features' is enabled. Scroll down to open the 'Subtitles section' then upload a new caption or subtitle in the desired language. It's important to be aware that each video only allows for one .vtt file.

Unmatched Insights: By breaking down language barriers, your content can connect with more people, fostering inclusivity and expanding your brand's influence across various demographics.

Who gets it: Anyone with access to the Files feature!

2. AI Forecasting

Using historical sales data, you can now view an AI-powered forecast. This means a more accurate prediction with an accuracy of over 95% for teams using deal information from the last three months. You can also now access predictions on the very first day of the month instead of waiting until day 7, making forecasting more readily available for your team.

Don't be like us!^^ make sure to put in all necessary data to improve accuracy

Check it out in the 'Analyze' tab in the Forecast tool to start getting useful insights.

Unmatched Insights: As with all AI features, make sure you get the most out of it by feeding relevant and contextual data from your deals. Otherwise your data may look skewed.

Who gets it: Sales Enterprise, Sales Pro, Service Enterprise, Service Pro

Other bits...

1. Update to behavior on preference page for subscription types with a "not specified" status

Before, subscription statuses were done based on an 'opt-in until told otherwise' basis. Not only is this potentially a grey area around GDPR; but it also adds friction to the user experience. This feature means contacts will only see tick marks against communications they are actively subscribed to and on the HubSpot end, any blank checkboxes will be marked as "not specified"

Unmatched Insights: Adding a third subscription 'status' makes sure you're steering clear of data privacy conflicts and I know I personally hate when I'm faced with a page of automatic opt-ins! Makes me want to do the complete opposite and unsubscribe from everything - but then I'm just stubborn...

Who gets it: All hubs and tiers

2. Conditional formatting in table visualizations within custom reporting

You can create conditional formatting within custom reporting on table charts. This means instead of seeing a list of information, you can also highlight any trends and anomalies with easy colour-coded visuals.

All you need to do is go into the chart settings area and into the conditional formatting options, then you can select your colour scheme and filtering on the following properties:

  • Number
  • Currency
  • Percent
  • Duration

Unmatched Insights: This is an easy way to make table data more visually appealing and useful when it  comes to analysing charts.

Who gets it:

Professional Customer Platform, Enterprise Customer Platform, Content Hub Professional, Content Hub Enterprise, Marketing Hub Professional, Marketing Hub Enterprise, Marketing+ Professional, Marketing+ Enterprise, Operations Hub Professional, Operations Hub Enterprise, Sales Hub Pro, Sales Hub Enterprise, Service Hub Pro, Service Hub Enterprise

3.Automated email reminders for invoices

Automatically send reminders for open invoices to your customers. With customisable scheduling, it means one less thing to remember to do and avoids the task of tracking down contacts and remembering to reach out to them.

To use it head over to the invoice settings and go to the new Automations tab and choose which date you want the reminder sent on. Just make sure you have the right 'from' address set up for the email send outs :)

Unmatched Insights: Chasing invoices is not only uncomfortable but also time-consuming. This makes your own internal processes just that bit smoother and takes one less thing of off your plate.

Who gets it: payment-enrolled users with Commerce Hub
